being a southindian, i feel its perfect to start this blog with my dosa hunt. :)
Bangalore is really a Dosa paradise, you can step in to any of the Darshinis/sagar over the corner and you can get a decent dosa [i still prefer to call it as dosai]. But still perfect dosa's need a hunting. :)
Dosa corner - a small food joint in Jayanagar 3rd block is a cool place to have perfect Dosas. Its really a small place and you can see crowd spilling all over the pavements during weekend evenings. Lot of maamis and mamasa with their kids along with a huge lot of college goers flock this place.
Its not a pricey glossy place, prices are cheap and dosas are simple. yet yummy!! The bad part here is the crowd, if u want to have a dosa on a saturday evening, you have to wait patiently for atleast 10-15 minitues in Q.
No longer only the traditional potato filling, but of paneer, cauliflower, beetroot, avarekalu, etc are in race with the potato masala dosas.There would be more than 15 stuffings of the choicest
fillings displayed on the menu prominently. They are worth for the 15 mins waiting.
the next time you visit Jayanagar BDA or 4th block for shopping spend some time with those piping hot dosas.
mm.. yeah.. They also serve excellent holiges ( இனிப்பு ஒப்புட்டு)
