Went to this great place with a couple of friends. First of all the theme took me by surprise, a British Ruled India platform, the train cabinet was amazing, the details, the silverware, the outfits of the captain simply fitted.

My little niece is very fond of this place, she loves the bread sticks with the cheese dips that comes in the beginning. Its so soothing :)

We had the kakori kabab and paneer tikka that comes with cheese an smashed potato sandwiched between paneer slices. As expected both were excellent. That too the kakori kabab, i will say for sure, its the best in Bangalore.

We ordered the chicken with a spring onion gravy (the name escapes me right now), for the main course and it was great. We had a roti each and then thought of having a biriyani

Got to know from the waiter that Chicken biryani here is not a dum biryani, but just chicken with gravy mixed with rice. So ordered Lamb Biriyani, I must say the dum biryani was superb. Most places the meat in a lamb biryani is very chewy and not very easy to gulp down, but here it was soft and tender. Perhaps 'one of the best' biryani I ever had.

"Sultan sherbet" & "Lemonade" with a hint of Sandalwood are must try in the drinks menu

You may need to book a table a day in advance. But it's worth it.

Silver Metro @ Madiwala

Silver Metro is a theme based restaurant inspired by a Metro train station. Its located in the 3rd Floor of Total mall in madiwala, near madiwala police station. Stratergically located :).
Run by Ohri's.
The Grand Buffet, lunch and dinner are served in the ambience of a Metro station, with all those glazy lighings.

I tried the buffet dinner. They have good variety of choices in both veg and non veg. The chicken dumsums was really good as in a speciality chinese restarunts.
Though the chikcen muglai was not at its best, their fish tawa was fine. they have assorted breadspread, raithas, chats, a really gud dhalmakhni, raithas and relly huge spread of salads. The desserts and ice cream was also good.

I wud say, i really liked their starters and dessert/salad over their main course :).

They claim to have well stocked bar, but i cudnt get my fav KFStrong or draught.. finally ended in having KF Premium :(

Its really a 'Good value for money' place, the dinner buffet they serve for 179+taxes is really worth enough.. so, although the place is big, it still gets crowded, u must be lucky to get a cozy corner seat in this metro.
